So cool! Can’t wait for the movie ;). I’ll happily read until then :)

Thanks, Ben. That means a lot coming from fiction aficionado. There are some amazing tools available to turn stories into movies these days.

Great read. The unknown/known bit is crucial. Few points: Rumsfeld made that concept popular, but the idea isn't his. Also, I didn't quite follow the subdivisions, for some reason I got some cognitive dissonance out of it. Intuitively, this is like a three-horizon thing where you need to explore the frontier to find new "whys" and "whats" worth exploring (unknown-unknowns), then bring some of that into the unknown-knowns to build "hows" by often redefining the "whats", and then ensure that the known-knowns are efficiently worked (more of a knowledge management job). I agree that the methods and machines we will use for those can look radically different from today, and I still like the frameworks I use in supermind.design to get there (4 pillars of collective intelligence, AI's 4Cs etc)

Thanks Gianni. I am planning to visualize the 2x2 and explain how unks turn into chunks -- it's a new mental model I have been working on. I should have clarified that Rumsfeld only popularized the concept. I have been using the unk-unk framework in different ways for many years, but recently I have been trying to understand how knowledge will be approached in the future. I will check out your supermind.design resources.
